Hi! I’m Madison Baer, Ph.D. – formerly Madison Rosenberger- (@madison.baer) owner of LavenderMatYoga, poet, writer, photographer, author of Meditate: A Simple and Straightforward guide, first-time Mom, holistic wellness practitioner, certified family herbalist, intuitive, and yoga teacher, RYT 500.
I took my first-ever yoga class to help rehab after knee surgery when I was 19. I came looking for physical healing and found a spiritual, holistic world that altered the entire course of my life. I ditched my corporate-planned future after college and started my own business as an intuitive healer, psychic reader, and yoga teacher.
Yoga opened up a door to a world where I was able to discover my true self and make space for deep healing. Yoga has been a cornerstone throughout my entire life. I have been teaching for over 10 years and it still continues to bring new levels of growth to my life every day.
Over the years my business has evolved and morphed alongside me, but one thing has always remained true. I am here to help you grow and fully embody the divine love and joy you were designed to. Through LavenderMat I intend to inspire and uplift you as you heal. Everyone is on a path to healing. Whether it be emotional, physical, mental or spiritual -usually all of the above- we all have something that our soul is asking us to turn inwards to reflect on. Something that was put in our lives to urge us to find our way back to our Higher selves and to help us become whole again.
Through LavenderMat I bring you tools that can help you find your way through suffering to peace more ease-fully. Yoga has never been just about poses for me. It’s meditation, mindfulness, a holistic/natural way of living, breathing, introspection, self-awareness and self-acceptance. Yoga is illumined living. Living an illumined life to me means aligning myself with positive practices and experiences to enlighten my ascending soul and embrace my divinity. Through LavenderMat I share everything that’s helped me with you!
Thank you for being here and please let me know if you have any questions!
Madison is a wonderful, thorough, yoga instructor. Although I have taken yoga classes numerous times, each time with Madison I learn something new. She is really great at making sure her students use correct form, and to do poses slowly to improve balance. I highly recommend Madison, and especially enjoy her spiritual sayings at the end of each session.
Madison does a great job supporting each individual in their practice and helping them get where they want to go. She makes everyone feel comfortable enough to get out of that comfort zone AND manages to weave in some life lessons here and there.
It’s good for the soul. Madison is very intuitive, sensitive, and all around a great yoga instructor!
